Lock Google Maps Services doesn’t work

Hi!

I hope someone can help me.
I entered the URL of the Google Map script in the Script Center to be blocked. The Google Map is also no longer displayed on the website. The mistake is, that the Google Map is no longer displayed at all, even if the website visitor agrees to the cookies.

Where is the mistake?

Hi Elena,

Could you remove the URL in the script center and post your URL so we can have a look?

Please also check if Google Maps is enabled, under Integrations – Services. For good measure, please disable the ACF integration (if enabled).

If you have a plugin for Google Maps, please let me know which one, we integrate with most. If it is a theme map, or a custom implementation I will have a look.

– I’ve checked – Google Maps is activated
– ACF is not installed

But I use a theme map.

Hi @kateeba,

Can you try adding gmap to Complianz > Integrations > Script Center, to the first text field? ((part of) URL’s or unique string from the inline scripts)

Just let me know what the results are after making this change. If the map disappears afterwards there might be another dependency involved, in which case a Custom Google Maps implementation would be the best option. We’d gladly help you set that up.

I tried using the Script Center, the map is hidden.

Unfortunately, always. Even if the site visitor consents to the cookie.

Hi @kateeba,

Is it still being blocked in the Script Center currently? If possible, could you please block it again so I can see if any errors appear?

This would allow us to look into a solution for it, and I can check if it displays any dependency errors etc.
