Locations search in My Calendar does not work. Other searches also slow to not working. Latest versions of WordPress and My Calendar(See below).

Been using My calendar for around a decade. Hadn’t been on the site for some time and when I did, everything had to be upgraded. I use plug-in to block automatic upgrading. The site’s on latest version of My Calendar but may need to downgrade.

The thing that made me notice the inability to search the locations database was the making of new locations that couldn’t be found. They are in the locations database but cant be accessed like pages made prior to the upgrades. Choosing and/or changing, locations from within the program has always been a bumpy process, with lots of freezes, slowdowns.

The site itself is a Page-centric site, not a Post-centric site. There are over 6300 locations.

Since upgrading, no newly created location works. The original set so far still seems to work.

When browser searching, the return is

“Sorry, but the page you were trying to view does not exist. It looks like this was the result of either: or an

    • a mistyped address
    • out-of-date link”

    for newly made locations.

Do you happen to know what version you were on before updating? That would help me to know what the scope of changes might have been. Otherwise, it’s hard to pin down.

I’m not sure what you’re referring to when you say “when browser searching” – can you clarify?
