Location not Saving on Refresh

    Hi Eyal,

    Thank you again for the shortcodes you’ve written in the past. I am experiencing a bug now with the current locations (or clearing of locations) not going through/saving when the page refreshes. Once in a while, I can get it to go through though. It was previously working fine, but I’m not sure which update broke it.

    If you’d like, I can add the various shortcodes to this thread, but I’ll wait for your instructions.

    Hello Levi,

    I apologize for the delayed reply.

    This issue is usually cause by cache/optimization plugins ( or cache provided by the host provider ) that cache the cookies that GEO my WP uses when saving the current location.

    If you do have such plugins installed on your site, please temporarily deactivate them and see if the issue is resolved. If that’s the case, then you will need to look into the cache plugin and see if it is possible to exclude specific cookies.

    Below is the list of cookies generated by GEO my WP and which should not be cached:

    gmw_autolocate
    gmw_ul_street
    gmw_ul_city
    gmw_ul_region_name
    gmw_ul_region_code
    gmw_ul_postcode
    gmw_ul_country_name
    gmw_ul_country_code
    gmw_ul_address
    gmw_ul_formatted_address
