# Location Manager

 * I’ve written a hack (a meta-hack, really) that installs a table to keep track
   of different latitude and longitude pairs. You can name them and attach a note&
   url to each location. When posting, you can choose from a drop down list of your
   saved locations, and have that saved with a post. If you have locations other
   than your default saved with a post, it will give you the option to add that 
   to your Locations DB right from the edit post page.
    No mods are made to the 
   actual posts, so there’s no compatibility problems there. The package is at [http://mookitty.co.uk/projects/LM-RC1c.zip](http://mookitty.co.uk/projects/lm.html)
   The docs are minimal, but should get you through the install, and I’ve included
   replacement `post.php` & `edit-form-advanced.php` files, because the changes 
   are extensive. Hope you enjoy it and email/irc if you have trouble.

 * Maybe we should have a function in wp to save more that the default lat+lon pair.
   
   I don’t move around much, but I can readily see how this could be essential to
   someone who does.

 * Yah, mookitty’s been gone a while…. I remember reading that she’d migrated to
   MT from WP maybe a year ago. I don’t know of anywhere to get any of her plugins
   any more.
