I’m using a child theme of “Bouquet”, and am in the process of making my website bilingual, English – Hebrew. The documentation of the Polylang plug-in I’m using to do this suggests asking the theme author to localize the theme for the particular language(s) required. Although it seemed unlikely that a theme author would be able to do this for a language spoken only in one small country, I found that my favorite theme happens to be authored and supported by a large multi-national firm called “Automattic” that, according to their website, includes at least one Israeli employee and another with an Israeli-sounding name. Would the people at “Automattic” be so kind as to localize Bouquet, and equip it with all files necessary for use with Hebrew?

  • Hi CKatzman,
Thanks for posting this, sorry for the slow reply. Bouquet is indeed localized and ready for translation. Look in the theme files for /languages/bouquet.pot for the POT file that will get you started.

If you’re new to translating themes, start with this guide: http://codex.wordpress.org/Translating_WordPress

Once you make the Hebrew files, please update here and send us the files so we can ship them with the next theme (for anyone to use).
