[resolved] localizing Bouquet theme for bi-lingual site (2 posts)

I'm using a child theme of "Bouquet", and am in the process of making my website bilingual, English - Hebrew. The documentation of the Polylang plug-in I'm using to do this suggests asking the theme author to localize the theme for the particular language(s) required. Although it seemed unlikely that a theme author would be able to do this for a language spoken only in one small country, I found that my favorite theme happens to be authored and supported by a large multi-national firm called "Automattic" that, according to their website, includes at least one Israeli employee and another with an Israeli-sounding name. Would the people at "Automattic" be so kind as to localize Bouquet, and equip it with all files necessary for use with Hebrew?

    Hi CKatzman,
Thanks for posting this, sorry for the slow reply. Bouquet is indeed localized and ready for translation. Look in the theme files for /languages/bouquet.pot for the POT file that will get you started.

If you're new to translating themes, start with this guide: http://codex.wordpress.org/Translating_WordPress

Once you make the Hebrew files, please update here and send us the files so we can ship them with the next theme (for anyone to use).
