• Hi everyone!

I am having a bit of a problem figuring out how to do that: I have a localized theme, with a /languages/ folder in it and 5 different .mo files with different languages.

Now if I define a specific language in wp-config.php, the language switches. Great.

But what I would like to do is to be able to switch the language of my frontend while keeping the admin panel in English.

Ideally, an additional line in my admin theme page, with checkboxes with the different available languages to choose from, would be just perfect!

    Do you think that’s possible?

    Thank you for your help!

  • I use Bogo plugin to switch between languages.

It lets you choose admin menu languages from your profile page, as long as you have the MO file installed.

    Thanks Nao!

However I am afraid this is not exactly what I am looking for. I want to be able to change the frontend, but not the backend. This plugin does the contrary.

Does anybody know if it is possible?

hd-j did you ever solve this? I have the same problem and with a MU site to add to the complexity.
