localhost to server

    hello! i just transfered my wp site to live server and when i access the wp-admin page for updating the permalinks it starts the wp installation all over…

    any ideas?

    Did you change the wp-config.php file to match the server’s database credentials?

    yes i did. as always! and it’s the first time i have such an issue

    Ok i found the problem. It was some cappital letters at the db prefix.

    BUT now when i try to login, while the first attempt is ok and i can see the first page and the wp-user menu ontop, i can’t actually log-in and i have redirection on page-sorry no access.

    any ideas here?

    The table prefix is used in the user table values, so if you had to change it for your server, it probably did not get changed in the user table.
