Local News Plugin?

I run a blog in my free time for expats living in a non english speaking country. I would like a plugin that I could feed with urls of site that have news in english and then those to show up on a page and link to said site. I do not want them to make an actual post in my blog.

I have seen FV community news – it is the idea I want, but it does not function now. And I have tried FeedWordpress, but it makes a post. I know I can hide a category from my RSS, but I dont want to have a exta 100 articles every week in my dashboard.

Anyone have any ideas?
