[Resolved] Local HTML in Page files – conflicts with php?

  • On my static front page I need some text to be centred and italic.
If I put the correct html code right into the page editor itself, could that cause any problems?
I understand that it is smarter to edit the style.css file, but if I edit that would all text in all my main content areas become centred and italic?

    Thanks,
    Frederick

  • It’s only smarter to use CSS when you can get a handle on what it is you want to style. In this case it doesn’t sound as though you can, if I’m understanding you right.

The page editor in the Dashboard has buttons for centering and italicising text. Go ahead and use them. They won’t hurt anything.
