 * I am editing a site on a local host using MAMP.
 * The only way I can get to the site is to enter [http://localhost:8888/wordpress](http://localhost:8888/wordpress)
   in the browser.
    This gets me to the front page, the admin page, and allows me
   to customize. I can not access or preview individual posts on the local host?
 * How do I get [http://localhost:8888/maxlaxoc.com](http://localhost:8888/maxlaxoc.com)
   to work?

 * I’d recommend perhaps checking out this tutorial on getting setup with WordPress
   and MAMP, sounds like some of your MAMP setup may be causing you some issues.
