    I guess that’s why it’s called development. When you gather the pieces of your head, you could take a read of this guide I cobbled together. win 7 IIS7.5 dev, linux apache prod. The hosts file allows the laptop to fake it as your prod server. 127.0.0.1 your.domain.tld

    Questions: what are the security implications involved? (the .htaccess file needs editing, I guess)

    Also, can I still mirror ALL sites in the network with this method?
