Load/Read/See More Button on Portfolio Section

Hi guys,

Apologies if I’ve posted this in the wrong section, I’m very new to this.

The company I work for has a fairly new website and I’ve been getting to grips with how to manage the website from the dashboard. I’m fairly certain my knowledge of content management is pretty good. However, my boss asked for a fairly bespoke request. He’s wanting to add a “Read or Load more” button on our portfolio so only a few of our products appear when initially visiting the site, but you have an option to click the “See More” button in order to unlock the rest of the products. I don’t have much knowledge about CMS or coding in general so if someone could point me in the right direction of a tutorial or explanation, that would be great.
