We have a problem, when a user completes a purchage we send a confirmation email with a link to the thankyou page of his order so he can refer to it later without the need of creating an account. Many users click that email link several times.

I have noticed that conversions are being duplicated several times due to this, so the data seems to be inflated!!

The plugin should send the transaction ID parameter in the conversion script so it would avoid sending duplicated data.

Also the value of the conversions is not sent correctly. Here is the configuration of our goal in analytics:

Should we turn on the “value” ? but it shouldn’t be a static value per conversion, this should be sent dinamically by the plugin, shouldn’t it?

Just to be clear, the values of the conversions are wrong, we are using COP currency, and although in Analytics it shows some values these values are missing digits and also are completely wrong.

Orders that should have a value of $300.000COP have $264,1COP values and similar.

In dollar terms, conversions that should be $100 USD are showing values of few cents in analytics. Very weird!

This should not happen since version 1.4.23 of the extension. Is your version of the extension up to date? Please share your system report with me. You can find it by going to WooCommerce > Status > Get system report and then click Copy for support to be able to paste it in your reply.

Is this conversion happening in Google Analytics? What currencies are you using in your store and do you have a way for managing conversions there?

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.
