Loading many unused fonts – even if message bar is disabled

Hello,

I hope I’m missing a setting or something, but:

GC Message Bar loads way too many fonts – even when I’ve disabled the message bar in settings. The only way to not load the fonts is to deactivate the plugin.

The other problem is that the fonts I would be using have already been loaded by the theme.

Is there any way to prevent this from happening?
