    Hi Yoast Support,

From all the posts, 1 post became stuck due to the “Loading help center” problem and I don’t have access to snippet preview, focus keyword & analysis.
Also, I can’t edit the date and change the screen options due to this problem while Yoast is active.
I’ve been waiting since first days of December 2017 till now January 2018 to see if the new Yoast versions can fix the issue but alas no luck.

    Yoast 6.1.1 and WordPress v4.9.2

Things I tried that did not work:
    * Deactivated Yoast and activated again.
    * Deactivated all the other plugins and only Yoast active.
    * Restore to default Yoast SEO settings.
    * I see a JavaScript error but in all the pages, not only to the specific post.
    * Changed to Twenty Seventeen theme.
    * Deactivated Yoast, deleted the plugin and installed again.

I much appreciate your help. Thanks.

You mentioned you found a JavaScript error, please send us a copy or a screenshot of it here so that we can investigate if that’s related to the issue.

    Hi MariusG,

    Thanks for your reply.

Here is the JavaScript error: http://www.screencast.com/t/SkvjBEpLoMuF
Here is the “Loading help center” error: http://www.screencast.com/t/2f517RPZdC

    No change with 6.2.0 version.

    Thank you.

    Hello,

Upon checking your screenshots, it looks like a plugin or theme conflict. Can you try and gather as much information for us as possible? Please perform the following:

    1. Make sure the issue doesn’t persist when Yoast SEO is disabled.
    2. Check for conflicts.
    3. Check for JavaScript errors with your console.

If you find any JavaScript errors related to Yoast SEO or if there is a conflict with a plugin or a theme, you can create a new GitHub issue for our developers. Please report the issue to a third party developer as well.

If you didn’t find any conflicts or errors, we think the issue is specific to your site. We’d need to investigate further but are unable to do so on these forums. You can purchase Yoast SEO Premium and receive our Premium email support and we can help you further.

    Hi Michael,

    Thanks for your answer.

    1. Make sure the issue doesn’t persist when Yoast SEO is disabled.
Reply: When Yoast SEO is disabled the “Loading help center” error disappear, I also can edit the date and change the screen options for example.

    2. Check for conflicts
Reply: I explained that in my first message and I reconfirmed again today. With all the other plugins deactivated and 1 only plugin active Yoast, the error is still there.
Also I changed to Twenty Seventeen default theme and the error is still present.

    3. Check for JavaScript errors with your console.
Reply: My previous message shows the JavaScript error is in all the posts, and not specifically for that post with the Loading help center error. So I think that the JavaScript error doesn’t belong to Yoast.

Summing up: I don’t see any conflict between Yoast and the rest of the plugins plus the theme, but the Loading help center error is there. The only thing to mention is that specific post had tons of updates due to the nature of the topic.

    Thank you.

Same thing is happening to one site I host. Deactivating Yoast resolves it.

The page hangs in any browser. Profiling the page tells me it takes 145 seconds for scripting to complete and the page is then available after roughly that amount of time has passed.

I was not able to add media or switch to the text editor on my self-hosted WordPress site when writing a post. The Yoast plugin wouldn’t load up either as the users above stated. I ran two different plugins to help locate a conflict and nothing showed up on either one. I found this post and deactivated my Yoast plugin and everything is fixed. On the downside, now I can’t use Yoast anymore. 🙁
