    Below is a snippet of the <head> tag and I’m trying to figure out why the line that reads:

    <script id=”shr-google-analytics” type=”text/javascript” src=”//google-analytics.com/ga.js” data-cfasync=”false”>

    is loading.

    I do not have any google analytics codes in the shareaholic plugin, yet this scrip is loading. What’s more, I can’t seem to find from where the script is loading in the plugin PHP files.

    Any suggestions?

    @smittyswebworks It looks like you’re running a really old version of the plugin. Can you please make sure you’re on at least version 7+ of the plugin?

    OK. Have loaded the latest version of shareaholic and still get the same issue. Shareaholic is loading the ga.js script, yet I don’t have google account info in shareaholic. See snippet below…

    The website is martin-taylordentistry.com if you want to take a look.

    @smittyswebworks go to Shareaholic -> Advanced Settings and choose to Disable Analytics to make this go away.

    OK. So I guess the next question is exactly what gets disabled when you disable analytics in the advanced settings?

    @smittyswebworks all of Shareaholic Analytics will get disabled — https://shareaholic.com/publishers/analytics/

    If you’re using the Related Content app, the quality of the recommendations will decrease as well as fewer data points will be go into determining the best possible matches.

    This will not affect Share Counts as those are pulled directly from their respective services.
