Loading Content While Keeping Part of the Page Static

Alright,
what I actually mean with this is that I would like to have an mp3 player continuously playing while you browse through the pages. I’m quite sure that this is manageable and could be built into the theme but since I’m not expert with scripting I need assistance with this, hope someone could point me in the right direction.
