Hello everyone, it’s me again 🤗

I was wondering, if it’s possible to load all content upon the first visit.

Even when the visitor hasn’t visit the content. I dislike the “You’re offline” alert.

My site won’t be too large, so it wouldn’t be an issue.

And how about the feature “Offline first”?

Is there anything that can be done?

I’ve seen some plug-ins, but I’m not sure, if they’re compatible with Super PWA.

Just some thoughts which came up, having a relaxing drink having a bath 😁

Thanks for help and information ladies and gents!

    Have a good one,
    Rob

    Hi there,

Happy to help you again. Currently, we have no plans to implement the caching of all pages on First Load as their are some restrictions exists upon different browser’s. Moreover some browser’s are prompting an automatic message something like Some background downloads are carried ober this website. You can deny it now.

As from the users point of view, they won’t love to see these kind of prompt upon the website they love to visit. And other major issue over the implementation of Offline caching strategy is – some user have only a very low internet connection/speed, if the large files were cached upon their first website visit, that will makes a very bad image upon the overall website and automatically creates a feel that it’s a data hungry website.

I’m looking over some other ways to implement this in future without affecting the user experience.

    Hope it helps.

    Hey there it’s me again.

Sorry when torturing your nerves, but I still would like to cache at least some pages, like the legal ones like cookie disclaimer a d my contact Form.

They’re text only and so not stealing to much space.

So the visitors always have access to to those important information pages.

Thinking about some lawyers who crawl the web to find pages and to sue the webmasters

And, also again, many thanks and an awesome first advent!

    Greetings,
    Rob
