WP install seemed successful hosted on GoDaddy using the GoDaddy 1 step upload. Initial page load is painfully slow-but better between pages. Working in the admin is so slow and seems to get bogged down as I work. Suggestion?

I did and they said it appeared to be configured correctly and suggested the WordPress Forum. Maybe I am not asking the right question of Godaddy? Besides saying it is SLOW-is there anything else you would ask?

    - You may try deleting revisions in database. I tried once and reduced the database to about half. have alook at this guide and see if it helps:

-You may performance test your site here and fix all the errors:
    http://www.webpagetest.org/

    - you may performance test your site here as well, Gzip compression etc.:

-You may try a cache plugins. For example:
    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-super-cache/
    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/w3-total-cache/
    etc.

    - you may try increasing the memory available to PHP?

-You may deactivating plugins (atleast the heavyweight pluguns) and see if that helps.

-You may also want to further discuss with your hosting provider if they have problems at their end. the rserver you website is on may be slow, for example.

-also have a read of this codex article:
