Load time of over 50 seconds

    Fantastic, wonderful plugin. I have over 50,000 users but only 50 contributors. Unfortunately the plugin isn’t limiting the selections nor caching them. So if I tell the plugin to select only 4 authors maximum and each must have at least 5 posts, it’s not being efficient. Instead it takes over a full minute to load pages with this plugin on. Other than this serious problem with the query and the return, it’s exactly what I wanted… Others seem to report success but not here.

    We havn’t done much work on the SQL but it sounds like some work is needed I will be doing some work over the next few weeks so I will look and the SQL and try to add caching.

    I have just done some codding to help you and now need to you to test it it as don’t have the number that you do

    and tell if it helps?

    If you have a caching plug-in installed you should sitewide caching

    I also now only get the users for the rolls that are being requested so that alone just help in only getting the authors and not the users
