Load the whole page before showing it

  • I’ve just started using wordpress my website is huge (I’ve imported it from another cms). I have this problem: the server loads the whole pages before starting showing them.

It’s annoying because my pages are kinda heavy so this way you will have to wait 10 seconds with a white page in front of your eyes and then in less than a second it will show you the entire page.

I’m almost sure this is caused by wordpress, because I noticed that I have the same issue with another wordpress blog (hosted on another server), but there the pages are ligther so the problem is not really a problem.

It’s not a theme problem, I’ve tried with the default one.

Maybe is it a problem caused by the last version of wordpresS? I’m using 2.2.1, is it possible to downgrade to 2.0 for example? Thanksss
