• It took me a while to find out why my images were still being loaded from my server after installing Photon. It turns out that the advanced “load images on scroll” option is incompatible with Jetpack’s Photon. Is this a bug or a feature?

Thanks for the theme, by the way.

  • Can you share a link to your site?
Which theme’s version are you using?
I’m not able to reproduce your issue, they work fine here…

    My site is http://mynetivot.com

I’m using Customizr 3.3.28 with a child theme that has a few of the snippets included.

I just turned off WP Super Cache and re-checked the “load on scroll” check box. Photon is on.

    mmm…
mm, photon is on? Looks like everything works viewing your website..
Did you clean supercache’s cache before turning it off?

    Mmm this is weird,
some pics are from photon (like the logo),
some others are from your wp-content/uploads, like the slides and the featured pages images (or better, the second one isn’t from photon)
What do you have in your child-theme?

    Deleted supercache files.

Removed all functions from child theme.

Toggled the “load images on scroll”. Uses photon only when feature is off. I even previewed the page using Customizr without a child theme and photon was not used with the “load” feature on. I also noticed the logo was using photon, but the header probably doesn’t use the “load” feature.

This isn’t a big deal because I will just not use the “load on scroll” feature.

Yes the logo doesn’t use the “load” feature..
Anyway the featured pages images use the “load” feature, and as you can see it works there, this is the first featured page’s image:
    <img src="http://i0.wp.com/mynetivot.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/IMG_4829.jpg?fit=1024%2C1024" class="attachment-large tc-thumb-type-thumb wp-post-image wp-post-image tc-smart-loaded h-centered" alt="IMG_4829" style="display: inline; height: 250px; width: auto; left: -51px; top: 1px;">

the src attribute tells us that it’s using photon and the class “tc-smart-loaded” tells us that it has loaded with the “smart load” feature.
