Llorix One Companion – set up/personalise

    Hi

    I have installed Llorix One Companion a few days ago as a new theme as I really wanted my site to look more professional and stylish.

    It does look so much better, and I know I need to work on the carousel on the front page even though in Photoshop I made all the pictures the same height, in the carousel they don’t appear uniform in anyway.

    I don’t understand why my first page in my menu “tiny tots” does not show the menu above in the header, yet all of the other pages in the menu do, I have been through them again and again, I don’t know how to fix it, or stop the “new” box appearing on every page.

    There is a big gap under the carousel on the front page and i don’t know how to get rid or it and make it look more concise

    I would like the bottom blue header bar to be narrower, like the top header bar

    The 3 social media buttons on the top header don’t work (I can’t get them to work).

    Please can somebody help me?

    I’d really appreciate it, I have tried so hard myself but I can’t find the way round them and getting abit frustrated with myself. I’m not a technophobe but I have reached my limit.

    Hi Clair,

    Let’s address the issues one at a time:-

    Please configure your menu order by navigating to Appearance -> Menus from your WordPress dashboard.

    There is a big gap under the carousel on the front page and i don’t know how to get rid or it and make it look more concise

    That’s because one of the carousel images is way larger in dimensions than the others. Please make the pictures same sized.

    I would like the bottom blue header bar to be narrower, like the top header bar

    Can you please post screenshot of the area you mean? It’d be easier to understand that way.

    The 3 social media buttons on the top header don’t work (I can’t get them to work).

    Hi thank you, have been working on this all afternoon, I’m determined to get it how I want it.

    I have taken out the portrait pictures but there are 2 square pictures I need to take out, I’m working on that its much much better.

    I have been trying all afternoon and I can’t get the menu to display properly for the first page Tiny Tots yet all the other pages are set up in exactly the same way and are behaving themselves. Am abit stuck.

    I have taken print screens of the top header where the Social Media Buttons are not working, I have tried to set them up exactly as the notes you sent (very helpful thank you) but is displaying only 3 icons (that do nothing when clicked on) yet I have filled out 4 different social media icons (my facebook page, twitter, Google+ and my Google business page.

    I have also included a screen print of the bottom blue bar that I would really like as thin as the top one.

    I really appreciate any help you are able to give me, I feel abit stir crazy now as I have literally been working on this all afternoon.

    Unfortunately, the theme doesn’t supports this customization and as much as I’d love to help you with some custom code, it is beyond the support offered for our products which consists in bug fixing and documentation. However, we recommend http://www.jobs.wordpress.net for your customization needs. Hope you understand.
