Support » Plugins » LiveJournal-Like post-specific “User Icons”?

  • Ages ago, I used LiveJournal. They have a feature called “LJ icons”, wherein each user has the ability to upload X number of 100 x 100 JPG or GIF icons. Each time you write a blog post, you select with Icon you want to associate (and display) with that post.

I’ve seen plugins that let you have “mood icons”, but they’re not displaying the way I want them to (I want the image to be align=left, before the post begins, so that the post wraps around it — not as a separate line)

I’ve also seen plugins that allow you to associate icons with your categories. This isn’t ideal (I’d like to have more icons than I do categories, and pick whichever one I feel like, regardless of the category) but it’s OK.

The only problem with that is, if the post has multiple categories, it lists the icons for ALL the associated categories, which can quickly get out of hand.

Does anyone know of a plugin that I can use to do what I’m describing?
