I would assume there would be better customer service than this ?
The limiting to a page does not work, or any response on adding a “Close” X have been received.

The plugin author isn’t allowed to support their commercial products here so poor customer support should be expected.
So if the vendor is not allowed to support their plugin through this forum, then why is it even here, why is their page linked to this forum ?
Seems strange that when you follow the links provided you get to this form … what good is it then ?

Huh, you said something about being a customer? Everything on WordPress.org is free. If you are paying for something then it is not supported here.
I didn’t say, I paid for anything … the usage of “Customer Service” is generic to include simply replying on a timely manner …
This vendor has two option a free plugin, which I am currently using, and an upgrade. The upgrade features of the “paid plugin” do not interest me unless it fixes the two issues I am having …
The term “free” is also misleading … the hours I have spent attempting to make some of the “free plugins” to work is time, and time is money. 🙂

Sorry for the delay – paying customers typically get support via email, which I respond to promptly. Because the plugin is an open-source, on-the-side effort, I address concerns as I have time.
Regardless, to show Lively only on certain pages, you’ll want to use the actual URL path or full URL. For example, do not use: /About Us; use /about-us/. WordPress usually adds ad trailing slash (/), so you’ll probably want to include that.
Dallas,
First I am not opposed to purchasing a Plugin that works. But when looking at the upgraded features, they didn’t include and that I am needing.
I just want a simple popup type … Need Help plugin. Not needed live chat, but by offline email …
The biggest issue is that it will not only only on one page … Support
I think I have tried every possible combination you listed in the plugin and from you replay above … */Support, */Support/, /Support, /Support/, /Support/*, */Support/*, (then all small cases), the page ID combinatios: http://quickbooksrus.net/wordpress/?page_id=45, /wordpress/?page_id=45, /page_id=45, */?page_id=45, page_id=45, 45, /45, */45, /45, etc … Nothing works.
But the real question is how to add a Close X at the top of the image ? Users can’t close this and it is real problem especially for mobile phones … you can see the issue at http://www.QuickBooksRus.net.

What is the actual URL you’re trying to show the chat on?
Dallas
The website as listed above is: QuickBooksRus.net
The Support page is permalink: http://quickbooksrus.net/wordpress/?page_id=45
I have set it to * to show the support chat on all pages, and why I am interested in having a Close X added …

The close button isn’t in the scope of things to do, but I will consider adding it.
To show the chat on only that page: /?page_id=45
If that doesn’t work, it may be time to try another plugin, as I’ve never had any complaints with that feature. I’d love to fix it for you, but I just don’t have the time right now. For more conversation, send me an email at dallas at excitecreative.ca. Thanks!

Thank you … it didn’t work …
