 * Hi
 * Live traffic: Is it possible to filter for ip range? or search-filter for hostname?

   If no no, where is all these info stored in the database?

 * Live Traffic can be filtered for IP addresses.
 * Check the box that says “Show Advanced Filters” and in the Drop down Filter list
   choose **IP**. You can specify a date range or leave them blank. Searching by
   hostname is currently not possible.
 * Hope this helps. 🙂

 * Thanks for the reply.
 * you mention **date **range? im talking about ip range, e.g. 1.1.1.1 – 3.3.3.3(
   just random numbers)

 * Right, the IP search has a place to enter the IP addresses but there is a box
   beside it to allow you to also search a specific date range to look at. For example
   you might want to see the number of visits from 123.234.43.21 in the last month.
   To do a general search for all the visits from an IP you do not need to have
   a date range specified.

 * im not talking about DATE. im talking about IP range, from 1 ip to another ip.
   so i can show many ip’s at the same time.

 * I know exactly what you are talking about. I’m saying you **DON’T** need to use
   the date range. If you were looking at the advanced filters in Live Traffic you
   would see that. Here is a screenshot so you can see what I mean.

 * The date range allows you to see all the visits from a particular IP or just
   the visits in a particular time frame. If you don’t need it you don’t have to
   set it.
 * That’s how you can filter for IPs in Live Traffic which is what I understood
   you were asking for instructions to do. Again, searching for the hostname is **
   not** possible.

 * no i didnt want to search for a 1 IP in a particular time frame.
    I wanted to
   search **multiple**(ip range: e.g. 1.1.1.1 – 3.3.3.3)
 * I doesnt look like you can search for an ip range? if yes, please share a screenshot
   how that is done

 * Now I get it. So sorry for the misunderstanding. While it won’t let you search
   for a range you can search using wildcards.
 * Example : You can search for something like **IP = 1.2.3.\*** to find all IPs
   in the range 1.2.3.0 – 1.2.3.255.
    _**Note :** It has to be **=** and not **contains**.
   <br> Also it can’t be a partial octet. So **168.192.3.4\*** won’t work. **192.168.3.\***
   would work.
 * Hope this helps.
