# Live Chat Not Working

 * Hi, I’m having trouble with my live chat plugin after the latest update. I was
   using Drift for years and it was working perfectly well until recently. I tried
   reinstalling but it doesn’t work. I tried FB customer chat plugin as well but
   both return with the same error results. I didn’t install anything new on my 
   website either. Screenshot as attached. Please help. Thanks heaps!

    Have you 
   tried resaving your permalinks? Navigate to Settings > Permalinks and save. Let
   me know if there’s no change.

 * Same results. It’s weird as I didn’t make any changes and it was working perfectly
   fine all the time till few days ago when my google map went missing and live 
   chat was disabled. The new update fixed the map issue tho.

 * By the way, does this resaving method would impact my website visibility on search
   engine? I was prompted that it will if I’ve made any changes which I obviously
   didn’t.

 * re-saving won’t just don’t change it.
 * Does the chat not work when you are signed in? Or both?
 * If you right click and click “inspect” in your browser and look at the “console”
   tab do you see any errors?

 * Hi Ben, it returned with an error screen ([https://bit.ly/2Y79rE2](https://bit.ly/2Y79rE2))
   whenever I saved the code into the plugin for both Drift and FB customer chat.
   I’m running Whatapps chat right now and have no problem it’s weird.
