Hello. For some time we have been receiving the message “LiteSpeed Cache: QUIC.cloud service nodes cannot reach your WP REST endpoints. Please check your WordPress or firewall setup. Check your QUIC.cloud dashboard for more details.”

It seems that the cache isn’t working properly. It took the site under a second to load, now it takes 7 seconds in Google Page Speed.

I have checked the server IP and it is the same as our server. I have also opened a report, “CRQODQHL“.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.

  • Hello, I had the same problem and after a lot of testing I found that what made the server response time more than 2/3 seconds was due to only one thing:
    Page optimization settings for css

    • Minify CSS
    • Combining CSS

I don’t know why I had this problem, as everything was working perfectly before, but if I deactivate these two options, the site is instantaneous.

Hello. Thank you for your reply. Only Minify CSS is active and this has been active from the start. Initially I thought that it is due to a server change that we have made a few months ago, but I have updated the new IP in LiteSpeed, so this should’t be the problem.

Same for me server change for a better (ex2.com) and css options maque the server response time verry slow, it was not like that before. perhaps the css lib minify and concatenate is the problem

@stefangociu disabling minify CSS will speed up the server response?
Maybe try disabling LSC and see compare, to rule out LSC

Also about QC not being able to connect to your site:
make sure plugins( wps-hide-login is one of them) are not disabling XML-RPC(they have options that will do that)

Hi @litetim. I have disabled the wps hide login plugin. Can you tell me if you are able to connect now, or do I need to generate a new login link?

    Thank you.

after you have disabled wp hide login plugin , you don’t need to do anything else , now please try re-link and connect it again , by follow this guide

    (@stefangociu)

Thank you for your reply. Found that guide in the morning and did everything before opening this topic. Step 1: Verify IP Detection – tested it and it works.

Step 2: Check REST API Accessibility – tested the API; it is enabled and works fine.

Step 3: Advanced Troubleshooting – activated the advanced debug log with included URI: rest_route=/litespeed

Just sent a new report with a new link: RPCIIEIA

Let me know if I should do anything else.

please don’t mention anything about login , it is forbidden in forum , you would get yourself banned

now with debug log enabled , try to connect again , if it fails, please share the log

    (@stefangociu)

Sorry for that. Can you tell me what I should try to connect again?
The message “LiteSpeed Cache: QUIC.cloud service nodes cannot reach your WP REST endpoints. Please check your WordPress or firewall setup. Check your QUIC.cloud dashboard for more details.” still appears in the dashboard.

go to litespeed cache -> dasbboard -> click “sync usage” , see what it returns

@stefangociu Looking on our server I see your site is optimizing images and VPI is running.
Maybe is just a notice or appeared a long time ago. Try dismissing the notice and see if it appears again.

    (@stefangociu)

I have dismissed the notification, it hasn’t appeared since. Pressed the sync button, this is what it shows. The plugin appears to do its job, its the low page speed score and huge TTFB that bothers me. We have a score of 99-100 and the site hasn’t changed since then. We don’t have any dynamic content, only static pages, the hosting plan is top, but something doesn’t work anymore as it should and I can’t put a finger on the problem.

@stefangociu you brought up 2 problems:
    1) the notice
    2) speed

Let’s finish 1 then go to the next one.
Is the notice appearing again? Or is solved?

    Thread Starter stefangociu

    (@stefangociu)

Hi @litetim. Yes, the notice has dissapeared. I suspect it was due to the IP change of our server when hosting moved us.

The speed is related to the notice, or at least I thought that this was the problem.
