• I have LiteSpeed Cache and just added CompressX to my sites. Are there any changes in the LiteSpeed settings you recommend to make it more compatible with CompressX?

    Hello @nealumphred ,

For LiteSpeed Cache users, clear the cache after CompressX finishes converting images. If your site is hosted on a LiteSpeed web server, restart the server after activating CompressX for the rewrite rule in .htaccess files to take effect.

    Kind regards.

My site is hosted on a LiteSpeed web server. I do not understand “restart the server after activating CompressX for the rewrite rule in .htaccess files to take effect.”

To apply .htaccess rewrite rules, a LiteSpeed web server restart is required.
