# Listserv stopped working

 * We had it working for a while but it is now not working – all appears fine but
   when we send a test email nothing happens. I have asked our hosting company and
   they say they haven’t blocked emails from the site so not sure what to do next
   to resolve this.

 * This looks a change on server side which has made the plugin stop working. Can
   you re-check smptp/email details, those might have changed. In troubleshooting
   page, do you see imap functions as available?

 * It is currently deactivated – should we be using it?

 * Was this wp SMTP plugin recently deactivated?
 * For fiding out the smtp settings login to your hosting cpanel and then follow
   this link:

   you prefer, but if you disable SSL, please use port 25)
