• I am using a Phlox Elementor Theme on my WordPress website. I have the latest campaign monitor plug in downloaded. I have 3 lists, a newsletter, a free download and a competition list live.

All has been working well until this evening when campaign monitor has become un-linked to my site via the app.

All forms are still there and I have ensured the client ID and client secret are correct.

However in editing the forms, no lists are connected and when I edit no lists are showing.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hello! I am having this same problem. The client ID and Client secret say they are saved, but then they disappear. Not sure if this is part of the problem?

    Thanks for the help!

    Hi @carolinetw and @cinnamon2 ,

Thanks for getting in touch about this. I was wondering if I could get a bit more information from you to better assist. Could you please provide the following?

    • your WordPress version
    • your PHP version
    • your current Campaign Monitor plugin version

Could you also please try disconnecting and then reconnecting the plugin under the plugin settings to see if that resolves the issue? Thanks, we’ll be waiting to hear from you!

Hello – thank you for getting back to me and I apologize for my tardy response!

    WP Version – 5.2.3
    Php version – 7.2
Campaign monitor plugin version – 2.8.1

    I deactivated, deleted, re-installed…

I seem to still be unable to save the Client ID and Secret Key. The settings say they are save successfully, but then the fields are empty afterwards.

    Thanks for the help!

    Hey there!

Thanks for your question, this problem would most often crop up, if after reinstalling the plugin, you don’t then reconnect. To do this, head to the Campaign Monitor Plugin by clicking on Subscribe Forms on the left hand side, then Settings. On this page, you can see the options to enter a client ID etc. From this page, click the option to disconnect account. Then once that’s processed, use the link to Connect the account. You’ll be asked to enter your Campaign Monitor account details and connect the account from scratch.

Thank you for your patience with this!

Thank you! I have had to move on from the plugin and just get this done, so I just used the straight embed code from Campaign Monitor directly and that works well.

Hopefully your above suggestion helps some other folks get connected with the plugin!
    🙂
