    Hello,
I am trying to use the short code for the listings page to display the property listings in multiple columns. I am using the short code that was recommended on the agent evolution training video, but it is not working. The short code is :

    [listings taxonomy=”status” term=”active” limit=”10″ columns=”3″]

This fails to display the listings 3 wide on the page, and instead blows the photo up and displays them one by one in a single column. This distorts the picture and does not have a very good appearance.

Can someone please let me know if there is another way to accomplish this?

    Thanks,
    Ryan

Nevermind, I just tried it again and it worked!

The columns don’t work for me either. I’m using [listings columns=”3″] and no joy. Is there a different way to force the columns as the default?

Not sure, I had tried it several times over the course of a week or two and then it just worked. I may have made a little mistake in the shortcode but I thought I had it accurate. Can you try use the exact shortcode I posted above and see if it works?

I was/am having this issue and got it to work by stripping formatting in the text tab editor.

I wrote the shortcode into the editor window on the “Visual” tab and it added formatting. The shortcode was not working properly.

When I went to the “Text” tab and stripped the formatting it started to work.

    Perhaps that can help you!
    Mary
