If you want to limit the display of fields on the listing, you can do that under Directory Admin->Manage Form Fields. You can change the visibility of any field in there to excerpt (list view), listing (detail view) or search form. Each field can be controlled separately.
Right now, for the URLs, we don’t allow you to customize them by removing certain aspects, but you can change the name of the “categories” slug under Directory Admin->Manage Options, General tab.
Try that and let me know if you run into more issues.
Thanks for the reply. I would like to limit the display in the listings and have them open up to full detailed listing. Same as this site did it. See, when users post an item in the sub category there is just the image with price, location, and title. When a person clicks the title or image it goes into the full post. And in the post there are breadcrumbs. How to do this?

That site is basically doing exactly what BD does out of the box (limited list view fields, more fields in the detail view). It just doesn’t look like the kijiji site. The sub categories display full item posts. That is not how kijiji is. How to fix it? Thanks.
not fixed. The post are too big. I would like preview of the post and then when clicked on the link it foes to the full listing.

Please don’t double-post issues.
Have you tried my suggestion by limiting which fields are displayed? I answered with the same info both times and it will reduce the fields that are shown.
BD has a list view and a detail view. The Manage Form Fields screen will allow you to configure which fields show up in which view. That sounds exactly what you need here.
