`Hi, is it possible to make that in the WP Customer Area administrator a contributor user for example can only list the files he has uploaded and not those of the rest of the contributor users?

I have activated the option “List all files” for Contributor user in the Capabilities settings of the plugin, but it lists all the files of other admin users, contributors, etc. And if I deactivate it, the Contributor user does not see any file…

Is it possible that he can only see his own uploaded files?

    Thanks!

    Hi,

I think that you want to uncheck the boxes in Settings > WP Customer Area > {Private content type} > Hide contents where the current connect user is the author. Then, deactivate “list all files” capabilities.

Contributors should now be able to see contents assigned to them, or contents they created.

    Regards.

Thanks, but I can’t find that option… I’m working with Private Files, and the only more or less similar option is “Content queries Hide contents created by the current connected user for listings related to Archivos and its sub-pages (category archive, date archive, widgets…).”.

I’ve unchecked it and then uncheck “List all files” for contributors and now nothing is listing… And the user colaborator is logged in and has a private file as author. It should be listing 1 private file, right? But nothing is listing…

    Please help!

    Thank you very much!

I’ve also tried in a new clean wordpress installation, with any other plugin, and the issue is the same.

The plugin is perfect for my client needs, and if this issue is solved I would greatly appreciate it!

    Hi @escuadracomunicacion

I’m so sorry that I forgot to reply to you. I actually fixed the issue but forgot to tell you that this will be available in the next release. We have a few fixes ready to deploy, I think I’ll take care of that next week.

Anyway, thank you for the report, it helped!

    Best regards.
