    If you create a link through the dashboard interface does it show up?

    No. I did create the link through the dashboard interface. Everything appreared still empty after 3 tries so I checked the database.

    I wonder if the database tables didn’t get setup correctly somehow. Try doing this:

    You’ll need to use a tool like PHPMyAdmin and remove the “db_version” row for Pretty Link in the wp_options table. The following query should pull it up.

    “SELECT * FROM wp_options WHERE option_name LIKE ‘%prl%’;

    Deactivate the plugin before you delete that row, then reactivate after you’ve deleted it. Let me know how it goes.

    It worked, thank you!

    What was interesting is, that the tables were cleared, can that be? Or did I when I deactivated the plugin some days ago after it did not work?

    I’m not sure what causes this to happen, but once in a while it does. Glad it’s working now though!

    On every WordPress install I have that we’ve updated to 3.6, the list of links is not showing in the WordPress control panel.

    I did the instructions above. When I do, WordPress prompts me to upgrade the database, puts the row back, and then the error persists.

    Is there another fix?

    Try trimming old hits at the bottom of the Options page.
