So, I’ve been looking around and searching through the forum, as well as online, and I’ve yet to find any way to do this cleanly: currently, a number of essential WordPress tags generate their own CSS classes. While this is great for opening up options for customization, I have yet to find a list of what classes and IDs various template tags generate. Does anyone have such a list, or am I going to have to wade through code looking at template tags and what formatting they’re adding?
Examples: if you use wp_list_pages(), entries are wrapped in a
<li class="page_item page_item_#">
If you use wp_list_categories(), entries are wrapped in a
<li class="cat-item cat-item-#">
Any help would be appreciated.
