    Hi,
I have setup MLA and it’s working great! A huge huge thank you.

This is a list of categories that I’m using

    2016-round2
    2016-round2-excels
    2016-round2-mini-mx5
    2016-round2-pulsars
    2016-round2-regularity
    2016-round2-superkarts
    2016-round2-supertt
    2016-round2-vra
    2016-round3
    2016-round3-allbritish
    2016-round3-mx5
    2016-round3-pulsars
    2016-round3-regularity
    2016-round3-superkarts
    2016-round3-supertt
    2016-round3-triumph
    2017-r1-documents
    2017-round1
    2017-round1
    2017-round1-clubmans
    2017-round1-pulsars
    2017-round1-regularity
    2017-round1-superkarts
    2017-round1-supertt
    driver-profiles
    sitecontent

After each event, I create different categories and upload the photos respectively.

On different pages, I display the first five photo from each gallery.
    Ie.
    2017 – Round 1
    5 photos
    more link

    2016 – Round 4
    5 photos
    more link
    etc, etc.

I’m wondering if it’s possible to be able to do the similar list, by using a search or like statement.

ie, Can I do something that using a word like ‘supertt’ and have it list the different categories, and show 5 images?

    My website is;
    http://www.motorrace.com.au/site1/

Just a little bit of extra background info, I have a SuperTT page, that I’d like to list all the SuperTT galleries (like above), I also have an event page. Ie, 2017 – Round, I’d like it to list all the galleries (like above) with the category of ‘2017-round1’.

    Hope that all makes sense.

Thanks for the kind words regarding the plugin and for your questions. Thanks as well for all the details on your application and the link to your site (very cool site!).

The cascading menus on your site imply, for example, that “2016 Round 2” (event)and “Regularity” (type) are separate terms, but your list shows it as 2016-round2-regularity. Your application design would be simpler if you used separate terms for events and types. Is that reasonable? You could also use separate taxonomies, such as Att. Categories for the events and Att. Tags for the types. Does that make sense?

If you are tied to having event and type in one compound term, you can use the MLA “Taxonomy term keyword(s) search” feature, but it might not perform well.

You wrote “Can I do something that using a word like ‘supertt’ and have it list the different categories, and show 5 images? ” Does that mean you want one page with all of the events for the ‘supertt’ type? If so, you will have to add some PHP code to your application to dynamically compose multiple [mla_gallery] shortcodes, one for each event. Is that feasible?

If you can give me the answers to the above questions I can be more specific. Thanks for your help and for your interest in the plugin.
