List Links

  • For the List Links call (php get links) .. is there a way to have them list horazontally rather than vertically?

    Hi John,
You can specify that in a number of ways. The ‘correct’, standards compliant way would be to continue to output the links as an unordered list (as in the sample template), and then specifiy the style for that unordered list be be horizontal.
If you look at the source for this page and it’s css file (wp.css) you will see that the top menu is in fact a list styled to display horizontally.
    Hope this helps,
    Mike

    Hi John,
I’m glad you are getting your blog together.
I saw you’re aligned picture too. Yeah, it does work as long as you don’t try it on a layer with a z-index of more than one.

BTW, when are we gonna have ‘before’ and ‘after’ parameters in get_archives() and list_cats() just like in get_links()? That would add much more flexibility to the tool.

For some reason when I can’t list my links in the pages of my blog at http://themutteringmuse.com . Niether wp_get_links() or wp_get_linksbyname() lists anything, I just get a blank page. Check it out: http://www.themutteringmuse.com/?page_id=395

Any ideas on what I’m doing wrong? Thanks so much!

Do you realize this is a more than 2 years old topic???
    Start your own, please.
But before that you could search: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/32956
    or, you can create a links.php Page…

Geez, sorry. I just saw a post on a similar topic and thought I’d post a follow up question. 🙁

    No problem 🙂
Check out the links I gave above, maybe there is something useful.
