Within my Custom Post Type, I’ve checked off certain Categories. However, when I use a standard WordPress plugin to display these Category posts, it does not recognize it. I suppose it’s because it’s not a standard Post. So, is there a way to display my custom post by category, but as a short code?

Thanks so much for your great plugin, BTW.

After delving into your (really helpful) video tutorial, I found that the Category option is available through the shortcode mechanism activated in the styling options of a Page or Post. I applied it like this (which includes the Post Excerpt):

    [summarize_posts post_type="itineraries" taxonomy="category" taxonomy_term="tibet" ]
    <li><a href="[+permalink+]">[+post_title+]</a>[+post_excerpt+]</li>
    [/summarize_posts]
