Support » Theme: Twenty Twenty » List blocks not aligned with paragraph block (TwentyTwenty theme)

    I’m using the Twenty Twenty theme and noticed that the lists block I have in my blog post flushes all the way to the left of the screen in a desktop page, which is not aligned with the paragraphs next to it (they look like a column placed at the center of the screen).

    It looks fine on my mobile device, but probably it’s because the screen is small and there’s no whitespace on the left of the screen.

    The blog is new so I didn’t do any fancy setting on it. Block List’s alignment just didn’t work correctly out of the box.

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi there! This appears to be caused by the “Nested Ordered Lists” Plugin. If you do not need that plugin, you can try deactivating it. Otherwise, the following CSS may solve the issue for you:

    .nested-list .entry-content ul, .nested-list .hentry ul {
        margin-left: auto;
        margin-right: auto;
    }

    That would go in the Customizer > Additional CSS panel.

    You can also try alerting the plugin author to the issue in the plugin’s forum here:

    You are right. I removed the plugin and the block lists displayed correctly again. I’ll notify Nest Ordered List’s author as well. Thanks a lot!
