Links within tweets not working | WordPress.org

I’m having issues with all links included in the Tweet Slide plugin. The twitter handle link does not work and any links included in the tweets themselves do not work. Is it possible to make the links provided within the tweets to work? Thanks!

UPDATE: fixed the issue with the twitter ID not functioning as the three controls dots under the slider had a higher z-index than the hashtag. Still need the issue with the links within the tweets to be resolved.
