Links to MP3 files will not work from Page, only from Posts

When I try to add an audio file to a Page I cannot link directly to the file, but rather WP forces link to the attachment page:

<a href='http://localhost/_wp/?attachment_id=1010' rel='attachment wp-att-1010'>testmp3</a>

This works correctly on Posts, but on Pages, no. Does anybody know how to resolve this so that I can link directly to an MP3 from a Page?
