# Links section

 * I have just started with WordPress and can’t find the place to make a links section.
   The tutorial and the doco say that there should be a Links section to the left
   of the dashboard but it’s not there. Can anyone tell me where to find it? Everything
   else from the tutorial is exactly where it should be but not this one.

 * Sounds like that tutorial is a bit outdated – that part of WP core was removed
   to a plugin in WP3.5. But you can add it back by installing this plugin:

 * OK, now I’m confused. Can anyone tell me how I get a links page set up then? 
   I can’t get the URL’s to link to anything – if I cut and paste them in, they 
   just stay as text.
    Any help is appreciated.
