Links question

I need to place links on my blog for affiliates and I have seen on some blogs that these links are disquised in some way… for example:

Lets say I wanted to place a referer link for Amazon on the blog it would look something like this… in the taskbar..

h**p://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/redirect?link_code=ur2&tag=thalwa-21&camp=1634&creative=6738&path=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.com%2Fgp%2Fproduct%2FB0007QKN22%2Fref%3Damb_link_973762_6%3Fn%3D502394

However, there appears to be a way to mask this so that it would appear like this:

h**p://www.mydomain.com/click/click.php?id=56

Because Im a wordpress virgin Im at something of a loss it trying to achieve this. Can anyone point me in the right direction or is there a plugin that would do the same thing. Im running wordpress 2.02 at present but the sites not live yet as I need to get all the links sorted out first. Any help would be very appreciated, thanks.
