  • I’m having this issue everytime I try to add a link:

WordPress database error: [Table ‘arbolts_wp.att_link2cat’ doesn’t exist]
    SELECT category_id FROM att_link2cat WHERE link_id = 506

WordPress database error: [Table ‘arbolts_wp.att_link2cat’ doesn’t exist]
    INSERT INTO att_link2cat (link_id, category_id) VALUES (506, 344)

WordPress database error: [Table ‘arbolts_wp.att_link2cat’ doesn’t exist]
    SELECT COUNT(*) FROM att_link2cat, att_links WHERE att_links.link_id = att_link2cat.link_id AND category_id = ‘344’

WordPress database error: [Unknown column ‘link_count’ in ‘field list’]
    UPDATE att_categories SET link_count = ” WHERE cat_ID = ‘344’

Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /hsphere/local/home/arboltse/ in /hsphere/local/home/arboltse/ on line 275

When I click the Manage Links page, this error appears:

WordPress database error: [Table ‘arbolts_wp.att_link2cat’ doesn’t exist]
    SELECT category_id FROM att_link2cat WHERE link_id = 506 ORDER BY category_id

I had to take the php get_links code, because it generated similar errors.

Future posting just doesn´t work. When I edit the timestamp code of a post to a future date and save it, the post just dissapears from the dashboard and the manage entries link. Have been playing with it, but it just doesn’t work.

Is there anyway I can check in the database if these posts are still stored? or if they just dissapear in a limbo? 😛 😉

Love version 2.1, hope you make it official soon!

  • If you install this plugin, you can check out everything about your DB.

I am having some strange issues with future posting as well and have a ticket over at TRAC about it.

Thanks samboll, I´ve been checking the database using phpmyadmin, but I really don´t understand a lot, although I like to play with things and mess with them, heh. I’ll install the plugin if it makes it easier 😉

You mean I have to create the link2cat table manually and that will stop the error in the “blogroll” and “add link” pages?

Trent, I read about the ticket, although my problem is different… the posts just dissapear when I switch them to a future date. I tried looking for them in the database and I could not find them.

arboltsef, The issue is that your database is not being updated. You do not have the 2.1 tables and columns. The database upgrade is triggered based only the installed files and then running upgrade, so be sure that all of the WordPress files have been installed.

I have solutionated this issue. Please watch it in

This is definitely a problem and has nothing to do with not upgrading since I get the same errors and have now run the upgrade script three times.

    Mario – thanks – will take a look…

ok – had a look. That’s a really long winded solution for a problem that should not have happened. I’m going to wait and see if there are any other solutions to the problem before doing anything so drastic.

The issue Trent filed is still happening in 2.1.1. I’m running 2.1.2 Alpha, now, but the post in question didn’t go live with the previous version.
