[Resolved] Links not working right

  • My friend asked me to fix her site for her and I’m not really huge in WordPress. So, my question to you is, how do I fix the navigation on a WP site? One of the pages is linking to the home page and another is linking to the page I want the original page to link to.

    Imagine, I have a home page, an about page, a testimonial page (which points to the home page), a contact page, and another miscellaneous page that points to the testimonial page.

    How do I fix this problem without wiping out those two pages and starting from scratch?

    @esmi

    Perhaps you need to review creating a static front page?

    I believe that the home page is to be update-able (and it think they would be showing current posts). Would that make a difference with the way the pages are laid out?

    My original thought was to save the content of the page(s) and then delete them – and then recreate them. But if there’s a faster, more efficient way of doing it – I’m open.

    I don’t kniw if this is pages problem. As for articles all is working OK, the blog and forum’s are showing links ok only under Profile page.

    @dellos: I’m not sure what you mean.

    I dont see it as Home page problem but as User Profile Page. As I wrote the rest off website is working ak, the problem is under the User Profil page and under “YD Profile Visitor Tracker” page. It’s look like it’s getting the wrong links from someware or it’s the template error. I would check the theme but dont have the clue where are the theme for Profile Page in my template. I don’t see the link’s for User name, and rest of fields of user Profile.

    Ah! I see. Let me do some more poking around.

    Ok, I figured out the issue. Since it was a custom theme that was purchased, it had its own menu configuration. All I had to do was point to the correct location and it works now.

    Thanks for all your input. You people are great!
