links not working

    hi,
    i am having issues with my links on website, the links exist and i double check the link url but it doesn’t open it. says object not found. i tried to make the permalink default still its not working, i remember changing permission of my wp-content. could it be the reason?

    Unless you provide a link to a page demonstrating the problem, no one will be able to offer much in the way of assistance.

    here is the link (the big buttons on the right side), i did change the permission to old default i.e 0755 and its working now but the permalink has be the default, which isn’t good for SEO. if i do any other permalink. it doesn’t work.

    You need check with your Host if they have Mod_rewrite ON

    Its funny because i have multiple domain running what account i registered but others are working fine. do you think it will be Mod_rewrite ON,thing? Because i am not so techy. as far i can tell if it was off shouldn’t all my other domains would have same problem?

    are your other domains using wordpress and permalinks as .htaccess file needs Mod_rewrite ON to rewrite the urls.

    govepatel, i have no idea. but they are working smoothly. does it mean they don’t share the same .htaccess?

    No – each WordPress site uses its own .htaccess file.

    Check with your hosts that mod_rewrite is running on your server.
