Support » Fixing WordPress » Links not working

  • Hey guys,

Just building a site there and I migrated it over to a live server using All-in-one wp migration and all seemed to work except the links aren’t connecting and I’m getting a ‘This resource has been moved/ renamed etc’ error.
The only page that works is the home page and the hosting is blacknight if that means anything.

When I use inspector on browsers the link says it is correct. For example I want something to go to gallery so it uses the sitename/wordpress/gallery/ and the inspector shows that is the href but still error when clicked.

From searching a great deal online I keep coming across changing the httpd.conf to ‘allow all’ as opposed to ‘allow none’ so it changes the .htaccess of the site. Does this seem like the likely solution?

I know it seems like a silly question but I’ve been at this for days and don’t want to have to change something unless it might work.

    Anyway, thanks in advance

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • It possible that .htaccess cannot be read. Check your Apache virtual host and make sure there is

    AllowOverride All

Furthermore, you can check your .htaccess file permissions and content. Apache should be able to read the file.

Great, I have it set up on a sub domain on a server so need to access the virtual host and change that. I’ll try that. Thanks for the advice.
