Links list too wide

  • All I did was change the links from the default ones and the nice look was destroyed by a very wide link area, which carries it’s white background over covering the first post! (For the entire length of the menu div, it’s a long post)

    This may be removed, but I doubt it’ll be fixed. And I can’t even get hand coded links to look right for some reason. The script is finicky.

    Ok, the strange answer is that it did not like the name “content” for a links list. bah. oh well.

  • I just figured out the other problem, my own text in the menu looking wonky. I knew there was a nesting of ul and li’s.. but there is another li nest inside that we can’t see in the template code.

    about the first issue, notice that the main “content” of your page is wrapped in a div with id=”content”. that is a standard wp name so you most probably have some css to style it. the styles from that id were being copied over.
